The thousands of people that succeed at Kaseya are prepared to go above and beyond for the betterment of our customers.The Role: QA Automation EngineerAs a QA Automation Engineer (RMM) at Kaseya, you will be a key member of our quality assurance team, specializing in the automation of testing processes for our Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) solutions. You will be working on QA for the Datto RMM product with a focus on automation QA. Your expertise in test automation, scripting, and test frameworks will play a critical role in ensuring the high-quality and reliability of our cutting-edge IT management products.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and QA team members to understand product features and requirementsDesign, develop, and implement automated test frameworksIdentify opportunities to expand test coverage and improve automation frameworksInvestigate test failures, troubleshoot issues, and report defects clearly and accuratelyDocument and communicate test results, contributing to overall quality metricsUse approved AI tools for creating, executing, and reporting test results.Participate in release processes and ensure quality standards are met for assigned projects

Essential Qualifications

4+ years experience building QA automationExpertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#Expertise with version control systems like GitHub, GitLab, or similarExperience using automated test frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright)Experience testing APIs (REST, GraphQL) using tools like Postman, ReadyAPI, SoapUI, or PyTestExperience automating testing in SaaS environmentsProven ability to build, execute, and maintain automated test scriptsExpertise with CI/CD pipelines and automation in development workflowsStrong skills in analysing test results and reporting automation outcomesExperience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Zephyr Scale (or equivalents)Working knowledge of multiple operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and LinuxProficient in utilizing JIRA and actively participating in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban frameworks.Good communication and a proactive, collaborative mindset

Desirable Skills
