QA Automation Engineer

As a QA Analyst III at CME Group, you will be an experienced test engineer responsible for independently analyzing requirements, creating and executing QA test cases, and delivering and supporting features in the software application. Your role will require you to be familiar with principal testing methodologies, establish and maintain testing environments, execute tests, verify and troubleshoot test results, and provide creative ideas and approaches for improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Assist senior QA members or leads in identifying test scope, test risks, and test methodology approaches - Work with backend applications, including batch and stream-based applications, and demonstrate a good understanding of Kafka and large sets of data - Create and maintain test documentation, execute test responsibilities with minimal supervision, and effectively interface and communicate with internal teams and external support groups Qualifications Required: - Experience with SQL and Linux/UNIX, with knowledge in Java/C++ - Proficiency in Java/C++ for a Software Engineer in Test role - Good understanding of Java - Experience with GCP Cloud or other cloud platforms will be advantageous - Prior experience in report generation or Capital Markets is a plus CME Group is the world's leading derivatives marketplace, providing a dynamic environment where you can influence markets globally, drive industry transformation, and develop your career by shaping the future.
