QA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive QA projects within an

  Agile/Scrum

  environment, ensuring smooth delivery and high-quality releases.
• Participate in project scoping, design reviews,

  test planning

  , and documentation reviews.
• Lead

  testing activities

  analyze requirements and design a

  risk-based testing strategy

  .
• Develop, trigger, and monitor

  automated test suites

  , ensuring continuous improvement and stability.
• Build and maintain

  automated regression suites

  using test automation tools.
• Implement

  QA governance

  for testing processes, test data, and performance metrics.
• Conduct

  risk analysis

  for project features, define mitigation strategies, and escalate critical issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform

  root cause analysis

  and ensure effective resolution.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality software by maintaining a strong focus on testing efficiency and accuracy.
  

Technical Skills (Must Have):

• Automation Tools:

  Selenium

• Programming:

  Java

• Database:

  SQL, Database Testing

• API Testing:

  RESTful API automation

• Frameworks:

  TestNG / JUnit (preferred)

Manual Testing Skills:

• Strong experience in manual testing concepts and methodologies.
  
• Experience performing functional, regression, and integration testing.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in

  Computer Science / IT / Engineering

  or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in

  Software Testing

  (Manual + Automation).
• Strong hands-on experience in

  Database Testing

  and

  SQL Queries

  .
• Familiarity with

  ETL processes

  and

  data migration testing

  .
• Understanding of

  Agile methodologies

  and

  QA best practices

  .
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
