Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Python, Selenium, and Jenkins to join our quality assurance team. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of our web applications. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to integrate test automation into the CI/CD pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automated test frameworks using Python and Selenium.
• Build end-to-end functional and regression test suites for web applications.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Collaborate with developers and QA analysts to understand requirements and test coverage.
• Analyze test results, debug failures, and log defects in issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
• Perform root cause analysis and provide detailed bug reports.
• Ensure automation scripts are version controlled using Git.
• Maintain documentation for automation framework, test cases, and processes.
• Continuously improve test efficiency and effectiveness through best practices and new technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python for test automation scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
• Experience with Jenkins for integrating and scheduling automated tests.
• Experience with frameworks like PyTest or unittest.
• Good understanding of CI/CD processes and test automation within pipelines.
• Familiarity with tools like Git, Jira, and TestRail or similar test management systems.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience testing REST APIs (e.g., using requests or Postman).
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to analyze front-end issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Experience with Docker, Allure Reports, or BrowserStack/Sauce Labs.
• Knowledge of performance or load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).
• Familiarity with BDD tools like Behave or Cucumber with Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹80,000.00 per month
