With 15+ years of expertise in cosmetics manufacturing, Zymo is looking for a Purchase Officer (Packaging Material) who can blend strategy with precision—sourcing the right materials, building strong vendor networks, and ensuring our products shine on the shelf.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Sourcing and Procurement

o Understand and evaluate packaging material requirements.

o Plan and execute effective procurement strategies for packaging materials.

o Handle purchase orders, invoices, debit/credit notes, and procurement documentation.

o Ensure timely sourcing of packaging material with cost-effectiveness and quality compliance.

· Vendor Management

o Build and maintain long-term vendor relationships.

o Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing and favourable terms.

· Inventory Management

o Monitor stock levels of packaging materials.

o Coordinate timely reordering and procurement.

o Support logistics coordination and ensure smooth supply chain flow.

o Optimize inventory to reduce holding costs without affecting production timelines.

· Cost Control & Financial Management

o Track procurement costs and contribute to cost optimization.

o Support budget planning for packaging material purchases.

· Data Analysis & Reporting

o Collect and analyze purchase-related data.

o Maintain procurement reports and perform documentation.

Qualifications:

· Graduate in Supply Chain / Business Administration / Commerce.

· Minimum 1.5 years of relevant experience in packaging material procurement in FMCG/cosmetics/pharmaceuticals.

· Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and inventory control.

· Hands-on experience with ERP tools.

· Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹280,000.00 per year
