Purchasing Officer

Role Overview: As a Purchasing Officer at Decons Company, you will be responsible for handling procurement and purchasing activities to ensure the smooth functioning of the supply chain process. Your role will involve sourcing, negotiating, and coordinating with suppliers to obtain the best quality products at the most competitive prices. Key Responsibilities: - Source suppliers and maintain good relationships with them - Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed - Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers - Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods - Collaborate with internal teams to determine procurement needs - Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing - Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficient procurement strategies Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field - Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer or in a similar role - Strong negotiation skills and ability to build effective supplier relationships - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient in MS Office and procurement software - Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment Please note: Decons Company offers paid time off and follows a day shift schedule.
