Purchasing Officer

As a Procurement Specialist, your role will involve Supplier management, Procurement process, Inventory and supply chain monitoring, Quality assurance, Record keeping, and Reporting and analysis. Key Responsibilities: - Research and vet potential vendors - Compare offers and negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing - Manage the entire purchasing cycle, including issuing purchase orders and tracking deliveries - Monitor stock levels and forecast demand to ensure a steady supply of materials - Ensure purchased goods meet quality standards and resolve any supplier-related issues - Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, invoices, and communications - Prepare reports on purchasing activities, conduct cost analyses, and monitor market trends Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in procurement or supply chain management - Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail - Proficiency in record-keeping and data analysis - Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities The company offers health insurance as a benefit and the work location is in person.
