Job Title: Senior Purchase Head Experience - Min 2 years CTC - As per industry Location: Noida sector 62 Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement effective procurement strategies to support project and production requirements. • Handle end-to-end procurement of steel materials (HR/CR sheets, structural steel, etc.) with accuracy and efficiency. • Evaluate and develop a reliable vendor base; conduct comparative analysis of supplier quotations. • Negotiate pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to ensure cost optimization and quality. • Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and project teams to plan material procurement schedules. • Issue and monitor Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring timely delivery and inventory control. • Track market trends related to steel pricing and availability to make informed procurement decisions. • Ensure proper inspection and quality checks for incoming steel and other materials. • Lead and mentor the procurement team to ensure departmental goals are achieved. • Drive initiatives for cost reduction, improved vendor performance, and supply chain efficiency. Educational Qualification: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce, or related field • MBA or PG Diploma in Supply Chain / Materials Management preferred Experience & Skills: • 2 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing or fabrication industry • Mandatory knowledge of steel fabrication materials, including HR & CR sheets, sections, and fabrication consumables • Strong vendor network in the steel and raw material supply segment • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and ERP systems • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills • Fluent in Hindi; English proficiency preferred • Strong commercial acumen and decision-making ability under pressure Show more Show less
