Job Title: Purchasing Executive

Department: Procurement / Supply Chain
Reporting To: Purchasing Manager / Supply Chain Head
Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

The Purchasing Executive will be responsible for managing the procurement process, including sourcing materials, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery to support production and inventory goals. This role plays a key part in maintaining material availability, controlling inventory levels, and supporting the company’s supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • RFQ Raise (Request for Quotation):

Prepare and issue RFQs to vendors; evaluate and compare quotations to ensure the best commercial and technical offer.

  • MRP Working (Material Requirements Planning):

Work closely with the planning department to analyze MRP outputs and determine purchasing needs based on production schedules.

  • Purchase Order (PO) Raise:

Create and process accurate and timely purchase orders aligned with organizational needs and budget guidelines.

  • Material Follow-up:

Monitor the status of material deliveries, follow up with suppliers to avoid delays, and update internal teams on order progress.

  • Raw Material Tracking:

Track the flow of raw materials from suppliers to warehouse to production, ensuring proper documentation and real-time visibility.

  • Inventory Control:

Monitor stock levels, prevent overstocking or stockouts, and coordinate with stores and production teams for regular stock reconciliation.

Additional Duties:

  • Maintain and update procurement records and documentation.
  • Assist in supplier evaluations and audits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve material-related issues.
  • Generate periodic reports on purchase orders, material availability, and inventory status.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in a procurement or supply chain role.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and MS Excel.
  • Good understanding of purchasing practices, inventory management, and supplier negotiations.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
