Purchase Manager (Real Estate experienced only)

A Purchasing Manager oversees the procurement of goods and services for an organization, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. They develop and implement purchasing strategies, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor market trends. They also play a crucial role in inventory management and forecasting future needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning:Developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize costs, quality, and supply chain efficiency.
• Supplier Management:Identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and building strong, reliable relationships.
• Contract Negotiation:Leading contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Inventory Management:Monitoring inventory levels, forecasting demand, and managing stock to prevent shortages or excess.
• Cost Management:Analyzing purchasing processes, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing strategies to reduce expenses.
• Team Leadership:May manage a team of buyers and purchasing agents, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
• Compliance:Ensuring all purchasing activities comply with relevant policies, regulations, and legal requirements.
• Communication:Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and operations, to understand their needs and ensure smooth procurement processes.
• Performance Monitoring: Tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) related to purchasing, such as cost savings, on-time delivery, and supplier performance.

• Education: A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is often required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate acquisition or related field.
• Strong knowledge of real estate market trends and regulations.
• Proven negotiation and deal-structuring skills.
