Job Title: Purchase Manager Location: Navi Mumbai Industry: Interior Turnkey Contracting Experience Required: Minimum 3 years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Manager with strong experience in procurement for interior turnkey projects. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of interior finishes and materials, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage procurement documentation and cost analysis efficiently. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. Key Responsibilities: Procurement Planning & Execution: Plan and procure materials required for interior fit-out projects in line with project timelines and budgets. Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and maintain a network of reliable vendors and suppliers. Develop long-term vendor relationships for timely and cost-effective sourcing. Material Knowledge: Ensure the quality and specification of materials such as laminates, plywood, hardware, glass, veneers, paints, lighting, and modular components meet project standards. Negotiation & Cost Optimization: Negotiate effectively with vendors to achieve the best prices and terms, ensuring value engineering without compromising quality. Comparative Cost Analysis: Prepare comparative cost sheets for all procurement decisions, analyzing vendor quotes, delivery timelines, and quality benchmarks. Documentation & Compliance: Generate and maintain Purchase Orders (PO), Proforma Invoices (PI), Delivery Challans, and other procurement-related documents with accuracy and compliance. Coordination with Site & Design Teams: Coordinate with the project managers, site teams, and design department to ensure timely delivery and material approval. Inventory & Logistics: Monitor material delivery schedules and stock levels to avoid project delays or overstocking. Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong knowledge of interior finishes and materials. Proficient in MS Excel – capable of creating comparative statements, data analysis, and tracking sheets. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Strong organizational and documentation abilities. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure. Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of ERP systems or procurement software. Existing vendor network in the Mumbai/Navi Mumbai region for interior fit-out materials. Understanding of taxation, delivery terms, and payment cycles.
