About the Role:

Purchase Manager

This position requires a deep understanding of the restaurant and hospitality supply chain, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for food, beverages, kitchen equipment, consumables, and other restaurant essentials.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels by coordinating with the kitchen, operations, and finance departments.
  • Regularly review supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and hygiene standards.
  • Manage purchase orders, contracts, and documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and product availability to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure accurate invoicing, billing, and timely payments.
  • Establish long-term vendor relationships to support the company’s operational and cost goals.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure adherence to food safety, procurement, and compliance standards.
  • Prepare regular reports on purchase costs, savings, and supplier performance for management review.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Hotel Management, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience

    in procurement or purchase management within the

    restaurant or hospitality industry

    is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of F&B categories, supplier networks, and sourcing processes.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software/ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP, or equivalent).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good understanding of cost control and inventory management principles.
