Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented, strategic, and results-driven Procurement Manager to lead our purchasing team. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of goods and services to support the organization’s operational . You will work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management:

Identify and establish relationships with key suppliers and vendors.

Lead the negotiation of contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to ensure favorable terms for the organization.

Develop and manage a vendor portfolio, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and consistent supply.

Continuously evaluate suppliers’ performance based on delivery, quality, and service standards.

Procurement Operations:

Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from identifying needs to placing orders and monitoring delivery.

Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier correspondence.

Develop and maintain procurement schedules to meet operational needs while minimizing inventory costs.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.

Cost Control & Budget Management:

Analyze market trends and price fluctuations to ensure cost-effective purchasing.

Develop and manage procurement budgets, ensuring adherence to cost-saving targets.

Implement procurement strategies to optimize spending without compromising quality or service.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with departments such as operations, finance, and production to align procurement activities with business needs.

Support the planning and forecasting of material requirements and purchases.

Advise on inventory management and assist in resolving any supply chain or material-related issues.

Process Improvement & Reporting:

Continuously assess and improve procurement processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.

Provide regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and savings to senior management.

Stay updated on procurement industry trends and best practices, implementing new strategies where appropriate.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Supply Chain Management) / Engineering Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile engineering

Experience:

7+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Proven experience in sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships.

Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supply chain operations.

Skills & Competencies:

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in procurement software (Focus/ERP/SAP) and Microsoft Office

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Note: Immediate Joiner required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
