Job Title: Purchase executive – Apparel Industry Location: Ramesh nagar Male candidates required Experience:min 3 yrs to 4 yrs years in procurement, preferably in apparel/textiles Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred) Office timing:-10:00am to 7:00pm No of working days:-6 Salary:-30k to 40k Contact via whatsapp:-9266110089 Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Purchase Manager to oversee procurement activities for our apparel manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of raw materials, fabrics, trims, and accessories, while maintaining high quality standards and building strong vendor relationships. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with production schedules and inventory goals. Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with suppliers for fabrics, trims, packaging, and other production materials. Evaluate vendor performance, pricing, delivery timelines, and quality compliance. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and planning teams to avoid stock-outs or overstock situations. Maintain cost efficiency while ensuring quality and timely delivery of goods. Liaise with internal teams (design, production, merchandising, QA) to understand material needs and specifications. Stay updated on market trends, fabric innovations, and alternative sourcing options. Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies and ethical sourcing standards. Manage import/export documentation and coordinate with logistics teams when required. Key Skills and Competencies: Strong knowledge of textile materials, garment production cycles, and supply chain operations. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills. Proficient in procurement software (e.g., SAP, ERP systems). Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
