Purchase Executive

A Purchase Executive in a manufacturing plant is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and acquiring goods and services that support production and operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely deliveries.​

Key Responsibilities
Identify and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery timelines.​

Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with vendors.​

Process purchase orders and monitor their progress to ensure on-time receipt of goods.​

Maintain accurate records of purchases, quotations, and purchase agreements.​

Track inventory levels and coordinate with stores/warehouse to avoid shortages or overstocking.​

Collaborate with internal departments to assess and fulfill procurement needs.​

Evaluate supplier performance periodically and enhance vendor relationships.​

Ensure compliance with organizational policies and statutory regulations for procurement.​

Assist in audits, prepare periodic reports on purchasing activities, and support continuous improvement of procurement processes.​

Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.​

2-5 years of relevant purchase experience, preferably in manufacturing or mechanical sectors.​

Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.​

Knowledge of inventory management, market analysis, and ERP/procurement software.​

Organizational ability, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.​

Essential Skills

Contract negotiation and cost management.​

Inventory control and demand forecasting.​

Use of ERP/Excel and other procurement tools.​

Compliance and audit support abilities.​

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
