Mechanical Proposal Engineer/Estimation Engineer (Sales & Management Support)

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and technically proficient Proposal /Estimation Engineer to support the Director and Sales Team in preparing technical proposals, managing sales leads, coordinating reports, and assisting in management-level documentation and communication. This role requires a combination of engineering knowledge, commercial understanding, and strong organizational skills to support business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities Proposal & Technical Support

• Prepare and review techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.
• Analyze RFQs, technical specifications, drawings, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with design, production, and procurement teams for technical and costing inputs.
• Maintain standard proposal formats, technical documents, and templates.

Sales Lead Management

• Track and manage sales inquiries and leads through CRM and internal systems.
• Follow up on proposals and update lead status regularly.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales pipeline reports.
• Support coordination between sales and technical teams.

Reporting & Management Support

• Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and performance summaries for management review.
• Assist the Director in preparing presentations, reports, and strategy notes.
• Support internal review meetings and document MOMs (Minutes of Meeting).

Director Assistance & Coordination

• Act as a technical and communication bridge between Director, Sales, and Engineering teams.
• Handle professional email communication and documentation.
• Assist in scheduling, coordination, and tracking of critical business activities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
• Experience in proposal engineering or technical sales support preferred.
• Knowledge of automation systems, CNC machines, welding systems, or robotics is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
