POSITION : The Tendering Officer is responsible for coordinating and managing the end-to-end tendering process. This includes identifying potential business opportunities, analyzing tender requirements, preparing bids, estimating costs, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring timely submission of high-quality, competitive proposals. Key Responsibilities Monitor online GEM & other portals and publications for relevant tender opportunities. Analyze RFPs, RFQs, and ITTs to understand client requirements and ensure eligibility. Prepare comprehensive and compliant tender documents including technical, commercial, and legal aspects. Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, legal, finance) for input and approvals. Estimate project costs and prepare competitive pricing in line with market standards and profit margins. Ensure accurate and timely submission of tenders as per client instructions (physical or digital). Handle pre- and post-tender clarifications, amendments, and negotiations with clients or consultants. Maintain a detailed record of all tenders submitted, won, lost, and reasons for outcomes. Conduct competitor and market analysis to improve future tender strategies. Ensure compliance with internal policies, client requirements, and industry regulations. Requirements & Qualifications Education: Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Commerce, or a related field. Additional certifications in contract management, procurement, or project management (preferred). Experience: 3–5 years of experience in tendering, bidding, or proposal management (based on role level). Experience in manufacturing/fabrication in heavy structure is an advantage. Skills: Strong understanding of tendering processes and documentation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of ERP/tendering tools is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Job description for Tender Executive Post: 1. Tender Identification & Analysis Monitor various tender portals (e.g., GeM, CPPP) for relevant opportunities. Analyze tender documents to assess feasibility and compliance. Identify key requirements and eligibility criteria. 2. Bid Preparation & Documentation Coordinate with internal teams (sales, engineering and finance) to gather necessary information. Ensure the company is registered on relevant tender platforms and maintains updated profiles. Cost Estimation & Compliance Collaborate with teams to prepare accurate cost estimates and pricing structures. Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and client requirements. Maintain records of refunds, Performance Guarantees and Bank Guarantees. Qualifications & Skills Education: BE Mechanical Engg. Experience: 3–5 years in tendering, bidding, or procurement. with relevant skills for submission of Engineering Consulting tenders of Construction Industry may also be considered.
