Role Overview: As a Lead Specialist / Deputy Manager / Manager in Insurance Broking, you will be a key member of the team based in Mumbai at Powai or Pune near Yerwada, operating on a hybrid work model. Your role will involve providing comprehensive support to onshore broking teams across various aspects such as client service, technical support, administration, and business development. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure efficient end-to-end management throughout the insurance lifecycle, contributing to the success of the team and the satisfaction of our clients. Key Responsibilities: - Account Management: - Assist broking teams in developing, implementing, and managing risk management and insurance programs to meet client needs. - Cultivate and maintain strong, enduring client relationships with key decision-makers. - Gain a deep understanding of client businesses, risk exposures, and insurance requirements. - Support renewal and broking strategies based on client specifications. - Contribute to new business acquisition and nurture existing client portfolios. - Aid in account retention and facilitate claim negotiation processes. - Ensure accuracy and compliance in the outputs from operations and processing teams. - Participate in client and insurer meetings as necessary. - Administration and Technical Support: - Ensure the timely and accurate production of all client documentation, including premiums, adjustments, certificates, renewal reports, and insurance manuals. - Coordinate with operations teams to ensure smooth work transitions, verifying the accuracy and quality of deliverables. - Maintain precise and updated client records. - Demonstrate a strong understanding of major classes of insurance and relevant legislation. - Apply compliance and quality standards consistently across all deliverables. - Assist in developing and implementing process improvements and leveraging technology tools. Qualification and Experience Requirements: - Graduate with a minimum of 6 years of experience in insurance broking or underwriting. - Prior experience in general insurance or financial lines in broking/underwriting is preferred. - Possession of Professional Insurance Certifications such as CPCU, CII, III, or equivalent is highly desirable. - A degree in Insurance, Risk Management, or Financial Services is preferable. - Understanding of global insurance practices, legislation, and compliance standards. - Willingness to work in early shift timings (6:30 am - 3:30 pm IST).
