Project Planning Manager

As a Project Planning Manager in the solar and onshore renewables sector, your role involves developing and implementing strategic project planning processes and methodologies to ensure efficient project execution. Leading a team of project planners, you will provide guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure high-quality project plans and schedules. Your responsibilities include overseeing the creation of comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and critical milestones in alignment with project objectives and stakeholder requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a team of project planners to develop high-quality project plans and schedules. - Monitor project schedules, identify bottlenecks, and optimize schedules and resources for enhanced efficiency. - Identify project risks, constraints, and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project plans and timelines. Qualifications Required: - 7+ years of progressive experience in project planning and scheduling within the solar or onshore renewables energy sector. - Expertise in project management software/tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Milestone Pro. - Strong leadership and team management skills with proven leadership experience. - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering high-quality project plans and solutions. - Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field required. Master's degree or relevant certifications like PMP or PMI-SP would be advantageous.
