Project Planning Manager

As the Project Planning & Control Manager, your role will involve overseeing and coordinating all project planning and control activities to ensure timely completion within budget and in compliance with safety and quality standards. Your background in the chemical process industry and experience in managing complex projects will be crucial for success. Key Responsibilities: - Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables. - Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure alignment with business goals. - Utilize project management software to create and maintain project schedules. - Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, forecasting, and financial reporting. - Monitor project expenditures and implement cost control measures to ensure projects stay within budget. - Analyze variances and take corrective actions as needed. - Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. - Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management plans. - Monitor and report on risk status throughout the project lifecycle. - Allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials. - Ensure optimal utilization of resources to maximize project efficiency. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve resource conflicts. - Track project progress against established milestones and timelines. - Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders. - Ensure accurate and timely documentation of project activities. - Implement quality control procedures to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed industry standards. - Conduct project audits and inspections to verify compliance with quality requirements. - Address any quality issues promptly and effectively. - Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams. - Facilitate project meetings and ensure all parties are informed of project developments. - Address stakeholder concerns and feedback in a timely manner. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. - Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management within the chemical process industry. - Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). - Strong understanding of chemical process operations and safety regulations. - Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. - Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.,
