Project Planning Manager

As a motivated Project Planning Manager at MTX Group Inc., you will be responsible for leading detailed planning for small projects and large complex enterprise project pursuits. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing project implementation plan narratives, schedules, and estimates that align with MTX delivery methodologies and client-required deliverables. - Collaborating with MTX delivery team leads to determine key staff candidates and project resource effort requirements. - Leading project planning and risk management deal review discussions before the submission of MTX proposal responses. To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications: - Unique ability to keep every small detail organized while focusing on the big picture. - Thrive in solving complex problems and building smart solutions. - Proficiency in Microsoft Project and MS Excel. - Familiarity with various implementation methodologies such as agile, iterative, rational unified process, and waterfall. - Certification in one or more of the following: PMP, Scrum Master, PgMP, PMI Risk Manager, Agile SaFE Certification. - Advanced awareness and understanding of E2E software development lifecycle best practices and activities. In addition to the responsibilities and qualifications mentioned above, you will bring: - 10+ years of Technical Project Management experience and Software Development Life Cycle Implementation experience. - Experience in bidding, pricing, product sourcing, vendor negotiations, and project management for the Enterprise Sales team. - Hands-on experience in delivering/leading SDLC project delivery. - Expertise in using project management tools like MS Project, Google Apps, MS Office, etc. - Hands-on experience with various software delivery methodologies like Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc. - Experience with JIRA or similar tools and agile project management methodologies. - Superior communication abilities, both verbally and in writing. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
