IT Project CoordinatorRole & Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day IT service delivery and on-site project activities—manage schedules, resource allocation, and SLA tracking for enterprise clients.
- Own incident, problem, and change coordination: triage tickets, route to appropriate resolver groups, monitor progress, and escalate to meet SLA targets using ServiceNow/Jira.
- Maintain project plans and status reporting in Microsoft Project/Excel; capture milestones, risks, dependencies, and produce concise executive summaries for stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings and readiness reviews; document action items, follow up with vendors and engineering teams, and close outstanding tasks.
- Support deployments and go-live activities: coordinate pre-checks, resource rosters, rollback plans, runbooks, and post-implementation reviews to ensure smooth transitions.
- Drive operational improvements: collect metrics (SLA, MTTR), update knowledge base and standard operating procedures, and recommend process optimizations.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven experience coordinating IT service operations or on-site IT projects in an enterprise environment.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or Jira for ticketing and change management workflows.
- Proficient with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel for planning and reporting.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices; ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in incident and change coordination, vendor liaison, and stakeholder communication.
- Ability to produce clear runbooks, status reports, and post-implementation documentation.
Preferred
- Project management certification (PMP or PRINCE2) or equivalent training.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and SQL-based reporting for operational metrics.
- Background in infrastructure or network change deployments and on-site service delivery models.
