Job Description: Senior Manager, Technical Strategy About the Position: We are seeking an exceptional Senior Manager of Technical Strategy to join our team in overseeing the operations of our state-of-the-art 3.2 million square foot facility. This pivotal role demands a leader with extensive experience in large-scale facility management and a deep understanding of complex electrical, HVAC, and water management systems. Key Responsibilities: 1. Technical Strategy Development and Implementation: o Formulate and execute comprehensive technical strategies to optimize facility operations across all systems. o Continually assess and improve the performance of electrical, HVAC, and water management systems. o Drive innovation in facility management practices, focusing on eƯiciency, sustainability, and cost-eƯectiveness. 2. Electrical Systems Management: o Oversee the operation and maintenance of High Tension (HT) and Low Tension (LT) power distribution systems. o Ensure the reliability and eƯiciency of all associated electrical equipment and infrastructure. o Develop and implement strategies for power quality improvement and energy conservation. 3. HVAC Systems Optimization: o Direct the management of complex HVAC systems, including chillers, Air Treatment Units (ATU), Air Handling Units (AHU), Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units, Precision Air Conditioning (PAC) systems, and cooling towers. o Implement strategies to enhance HVAC eƯiciency and maintain optimal indoor air quality. o Lead initiatives for energy-eƯicient cooling solutions in critical areas. 4. Water Management Systems Oversight: o Supervise the operation of Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Water Treatment Plants (WTP), and Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems. o Develop and implement water conservation strategies and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. o Optimize water usage and treatment processes for sustainability and costeƯectiveness. 5. Team Leadership and Development: o Manage and mentor a team of technical professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. o Develop succession plans and career growth opportunities for team members. o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless facility operations. 6. Compliance and Safety Management: o Ensure strict adherence to all relevant regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols. o Stay abreast of evolving regulatory requirements and implement necessary changes proactively. o Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments across all systems. 7. Budget and Resource Management: o Develop and manage annual budgets for system maintenance, upgrades, and energy costs. o Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising system performance or safety. o Oversee vendor relationships and contract negotiations for equipment and services. 8. Reporting and Communication: o Provide regular performance reports to senior management on system eƯiciency, cost savings, and strategic initiatives. o Present technical strategies and project proposals to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. o Act as the primary technical liaison with external partners and regulatory bodies. Required Qualifications:  Advanced degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering; MBA or similar advanced management degree is a plus.  Minimum 10 years of experience in large-scale facility management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.  Proven expertise in managing complex electrical, HVAC, and water management systems in large facilities.  Strong understanding of energy eƯiciency principles and sustainability practices.  Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful large-scale project implementation. Essential Skills:  Exceptional leadership abilities with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.  Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of eƯectively conveying complex technical information to diverse audiences.  Strategic thinker with the ability to align technical strategies with organizational goals.  Proficiency in facility management software and automation systems.  Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships. Performance Metrics: The successful candidate will be evaluated based on the following key performance indicators:  Achievement of system eƯiciency targets (e.g., energy usage reduction, water conservation).  Maintenance of high system uptime and reliability metrics.  Successful implementation of cost reduction initiatives and adherence to budget constraints.  Development and execution of innovative technical strategies that enhance facility performance.  Improvement in team performance and successful implementation of succession planning.  Compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards.
