Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to oversee the end-to-end operations of our flour manufacturing facility. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of the production process, including planning, procurement of raw materials, food safety, packaging, logistics, dispatch of finished products, and direct client interaction. The ideal candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) , HACCP , regulatory compliance, and experience in handling client and accreditation body audits . Key Responsibilities:1. Production & Planning Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization. Monitor daily operations and ensure production targets (quantity, quality, timelines) are met. Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials (e.g., wheat, additives). Monitor machinery and maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. 2. Raw Material Management Oversee the planning, receiving, inspection, and storage of raw materials. Ensure inventory control and material traceability. Collaborate with suppliers for quality compliance and timely delivery. 3. Quality Assurance & Food Safety Implement and monitor Food Safety Management System (FSMS), HACCP, and GMP practices. Maintain hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards across all production areas. Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits (e.g., FSSAI, ISO, BRC, etc.). Address non-conformances and implement corrective actions. 4. Packaging & Dispatch Supervise packaging processes to ensure finished products meet quality and customer specifications. Plan and execute timely dispatch and delivery of goods. Coordinate with logistics partners for efficient transport and documentation. 5. Client Communication & Compliance Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding product quality, delivery, and audit processes. Participate in client visits, audits, and resolve queries or issues. Prepare and present production reports, audit documentation, and compliance records. 6. Team Management Lead, train, and mentor production staff. Allocate work schedules and monitor team performance. Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred). Minimum 5–8 years of experience in flour milling or food manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of FSMS, HACCP, ISO 22000 , and regulatory standards. Experience handling third-party audits , client audits , and certification processes . Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and production software. Preferred Certifications: HACCP Certification Lead Auditor for ISO 22000 or FSSC 22000 Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing (optional) Job Type: Full-time Pay: From ₹45,000.00 per month Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Internet reimbursement Leave encashment Provident Fund Schedule: Rotational shift Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus Yearly bonus Experience: Flour Manufacturing Company: 3 years (Required) Work Location: In person Application Deadline: 15/06/2025 Expected Start Date: 15/06/2025
