Production Manager

Type: Full-Time, Work from Office Location: Ambala Experience: Minimum 10+ years of operations management experience Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field Summary: We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to coordinate activities between the factory, head office, and multiple sites, ensuring seamless operations and efficient communication. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operations management and be able to lead the team towards achieving organizational goals. Preferences:  Candidates with a background in the Indian Armed Forces are preferred.  A strong finance background is an additional advantage.

• Responsibilities:  Lead and Coordinate Operations: Oversee operational efficiency across the factory, head office, and multiple sites to ensure goals and objectives are consistently met.  Daily Operations Management: Supervise and manage daily activities to ensure smooth operations, aligning with company goals and customer demands.  Team Mentorship: Mentor and guide team members to enhance productivity and teamwork across all locations.  Resource Management: Develop and implement strategies for optimal resource allocation, cost management, and budgeting.  Inventory & Procurement: Monitor inventory levels and procurement processes to ensure timely stock replenishment and smooth production cycles.  Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing actionable insights to senior management.  Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement initiatives and standardize processes to improve operational performance.  Compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations and policies.  Collaboration: Work closely with senior management on operational plans, budgets, and strategic objectives.  Vendor & Contract Management: Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.  Leadership in Change: Lead during organizational changes and expansion initiatives, maintaining team morale and productivity.  Culture Development: Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer focus, aligned with company values. Skills:  Liaison Skills: Strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across various teams and departments.  Leadership & Interpersonal Skills: Proven leadership experience, capable of managing conflicts, motivating employees, and leading teams effectively.  Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities: Expertise in identifying operational challenges and devising practical, effective solutions.  Project Management: Proficiency in project management software and tools, with a demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects.  Microsoft Office: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.  Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills for clear and efficient information flow across multiple locations.  Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.  Electrical Systems Knowledge: In-depth understanding of electrical systems, including LEDs and automation technologies.
