Production Manager

About the Role

Himalaya International is looking for an experienced Production Manager with strong knowledge of signage, branding, and fabrication processes. The candidate will oversee the entire production cycle, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and superior quality across all signage and branding projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily production operations for signage and branding projects.
• Oversee fabrication, printing, and installation activities across materials such as acrylic, MDF, vinyl, flex, ACP, LED modules, and sunboard.
• Ensure all jobs are executed as per design specifications, brand guidelines, and client requirements.
• Manage manpower allocation, shift scheduling, and vendor coordination.
• Monitor production timelines, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain strict quality control standards across all production stages.
• Control wastage of materials and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
• Ensure maintenance and smooth functioning of machines and equipment (CNC, laser cutting, printers, etc.).
• Work closely with design, procurement, and project management teams for seamless execution.
• Handle client escalations related to production and provide timely solutions.
• Maintain production reports, inventory records, and job tracking for management review.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards at the workshop/site.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Production, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• 15–20 years of experience in signage, advertising, or related fabrication industry.
• Strong knowledge of signage production techniques (printing, CNC, laser cutting, LED fabrication, etc.).
• Experience managing teams and production schedules.
• Familiarity with materials like acrylic, MDF, ACP, flex, vinyl, and LED modules.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of ERP software will be an advantage.
