In Costing and/or MIS functionReports to: Mgr. Commercial Any other specific requirement: Must be a number crusher and data analytics mindset. Pre-Requisites: Experience in handing all types of Product Costing (Raw Materials, WIP or Finished Goods). Technical knowledge of Data Acquisition Systems for controlled and uninterrupted input data capturing. Advanced knowledge of computer e.g. Excel, Word, Power point, SAP, Tally etc.¢ Understanding manufacturing processes w.r.t. process throughputs, material losses and m/c efficiencies.Key Responsibilities: ¢ Conducting Costing of Finished Goods and various other WIP materials for Sales as well as Purchasing needs.¢ Generate and develop constant sources of data from various shopfloor processes and ensure their accuracy by cross-checking with other relevant data-points.¢ Performing inventory inspections in line with stores and verify physical stock as necessary and reporting any inconsistencies, immediately.¢ Conducting market research to keep abreast of the updated technology & map deviations in the plant.¢ Overhauling and maintaining a comprehensive manufacturing information reporting system duly cross-checked for Management Reporting.¢ Create a seamless process of daily operational MIS and strategic MIS for higher level management decision support, harnessing the SAP software and other auxiliary automations. ¢ Regular training to be received & to be given in respect of data crunching, use of authentic data and analytics.¢ Designing of the process wherever necessary in case there are gaps in the same.¢ Processing the routine information requirement of all verticals, HODs/Managers to avoid any delays in the decision making across all functions.¢ Reduction in Operating Cost through substitute products or alternate suppliers using accurate costing insights.¢ Be the nodal point for accurate data support to budgeting and company-wide Employees for their KRA/KPIs.¢ To ensure all data for the company level statutory compliances e.g. GST, PAN card, TDS, TCS, Bank a/c etc. are systematized and compiled on time, duly validated.¢ Domain of work will include all existing units and future expansion of the Company.Key Authorities:¢ Release daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual MIS reports with complete accountability.¢ To ensure adherence of all Company level policies and statutory requirements.¢ Authorization of all Costing Data, trend analysis and necessary market intelligence.¢ Approval of leaves, their guidance and performance assessment of reportees.Skills/Core Competencies Required:Data collation and number crunching skills in large volumes.¢ Skills required for data aggregation and validation through cross functional sources.¢ Technical skills to understand the production process w.r.t. material and process costs.¢ Communication Skills and patience to deal with all levels of employees as customers and vendors.
