Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Lead and control overall operations including manufacturing, projects, procurement, and
logistics
Convert strategic objectives into executable operational plans
Ensure efficient utilization of resources and operational discipline
Production & Project Execution
Oversee production planning, scheduling, and execution
Ensure on-time completion of customer orders and projects
Monitor KPIs related to productivity, quality, cost, and delivery
Process Improvement & Cost Management
Implement Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement practices
Control operational costs and improve profitability
Develop, review, and enforce SOPs and operational policies
Supply Chain & Inventory Control
Coordinate with purchase, stores, and logistics teams
Ensure uninterrupted material availability and optimized inventory levels
Improve vendor performance and supply chain efficiency
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety norms, and statutory requirements
Drive workplace safety culture and zero-incident initiatives
Lead audits and ensure corrective and preventive actions
People Management
Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and operational teams
Drive performance management, accountability, and skill enhancement
Promote teamwork, ownership, and continuous improvement culture
Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Finance, HR, and Customer Support
Provide operational MIS, reports, and strategic inputs to management
Support business growth and operational scalability
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Production / Industrial)
MBA / PGDM in Operations / Supply Chain / General Management preferred
Experience Requirements
10–15+ years of relevant experience in operations management
Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role (Operations Head / Plant Head / Factory
Manager)
Experience in engineering, automation, electrical, or manufacturing sectors preferred
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership, planning, and decision-making skills
In-depth knowledge of operations, supply chain, and cost control
Financial understanding and ERP/MIS proficiency
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
