Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

 Lead and control overall operations including manufacturing, projects, procurement, and

logistics

 Convert strategic objectives into executable operational plans

 Ensure efficient utilization of resources and operational discipline

Production & Project Execution

 Oversee production planning, scheduling, and execution

 Ensure on-time completion of customer orders and projects

 Monitor KPIs related to productivity, quality, cost, and delivery

Process Improvement & Cost Management

 Implement Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement practices

 Control operational costs and improve profitability

 Develop, review, and enforce SOPs and operational policies

Supply Chain & Inventory Control

 Coordinate with purchase, stores, and logistics teams

 Ensure uninterrupted material availability and optimized inventory levels

 Improve vendor performance and supply chain efficiency

Quality, Safety & Compliance

 Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety norms, and statutory requirements

 Drive workplace safety culture and zero-incident initiatives

 Lead audits and ensure corrective and preventive actions

People Management

 Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and operational teams

 Drive performance management, accountability, and skill enhancement

 Promote teamwork, ownership, and continuous improvement culture

Cross-Functional Coordination

 Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Finance, HR, and Customer Support

 Provide operational MIS, reports, and strategic inputs to management

 Support business growth and operational scalability

Required Qualifications

 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Production / Industrial)

 MBA / PGDM in Operations / Supply Chain / General Management preferred

Experience Requirements

 10–15+ years of relevant experience in operations management

 Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role (Operations Head / Plant Head / Factory

Manager)

 Experience in engineering, automation, electrical, or manufacturing sectors preferred

Key Skills & Competencies

 Strong leadership, planning, and decision-making skills

 In-depth knowledge of operations, supply chain, and cost control

 Financial understanding and ERP/MIS proficiency

 Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
