Job Title: Production Incharge (Fabrication)

Job Summary

The production in-charge is responsible for the end-to-end fabrication process of stainless steel (SS) and PVD-coated architectural products. You will oversee the factory floor to ensure that raw metal is accurately transformed into finished luxury furniture, railings, and decorative panels.

Core Fabrication Responsibilities

• Fabrication Supervision: Directing the daily cutting, bending, and shaping of SS 304/316 sheets and profiles.
• Welding Management: Overseeing TIG and argon welding processes to ensure seamless joints and structural integrity for high-end furniture.
• Blueprint Execution: Interpreting complex CAD drawings and technical schematics to guide the production team in precision assembly.
• Surface Finishing Oversight: Managing the preparation of surfaces for PVD coating and powder coating, ensuring zero-defect finishes.
• Resource & Material Planning: Tracking the consumption of metal stock and coordinating with the procurement team to prevent downtime.
• Quality Control (QC): Implementing strict in-process checks to verify dimensions, alignment, and weld quality before products move to the finishing stage.

Operational & Leadership Duties

• Target Delivery: Creating and maintaining daily production schedules to meet client deadlines for interior projects.
• Manpower Management: Leading a team of fabricators, welders, and helpers, including training them on new machinery or safety protocols.
• Wastage Control: Implementing lean manufacturing or "5S" practices to minimize scrap and optimize material usage.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring that fabrication machinery (bending machines, laser cutters, polishing tools) is regularly maintained and operational.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: BE/Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of SS grades, metal gauges, and specialized welding techniques for decorative furniture.
• Software Proficiency: Ability to understand 2D/3D technical drawings (AutoCAD).
• Experience: Previous experience in a metal fabrication unit, specifically dealing with interior or architectural products.
