Job Description

Job Summary:

Phoenix Contact India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and experienced Solution Architect to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing PLC-based automation solutions tailored to client requirements, with a strong focus on PLC programming, SCADA, and HMI systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and propose PLC solutions in line with customer requirements and industry standards.
Analyze client specifications and translate them into functional control system architectures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, project management, and engineering to deliver optimal automation solutions.
Conduct site visits, technical presentations, and solution demonstrations as required.
Ensure all designs and implementations meet compliance, quality, and safety standards.
Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams as needed.

Required Skills and Competencies:

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in
PLC programming
Experience with
SCADA
systems and
HMI
design and configuration is an added advantage
Good understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profinet, EtherNet/IP)
Analytical thinking with the ability to conceptualize complete system designs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good understanding of industrial standards and approvals
Experience in industrial automation domains like process control, factory automation, or infrastructure automation
Familiarity with Phoenix Contact products and solutions will be an advantage
Capability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers
