Product Specialist

Job Description: As a candidate for this role, you will be responsible for the following key areas: - Role Overview: You will be primarily tasked with leveraging your technical proficiency and business intelligence skills to develop insightful data visualizations using Power BI tools. Your expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Gateway will be crucial in creating executive dashboards and operational reports. Additionally, your deep understanding of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling techniques will ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of the visualizations you produce. - Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Gateway. - Utilize strong SQL skills for data extraction, joins, and aggregations. - Build executive dashboards and operational reports to meet business requirements. - Apply visual design principles, UX best practices, and storytelling techniques to effectively communicate insights through data. - Collaborate with team members in Agile/Scrum environments to deliver high-quality BI solutions. - Engage in requirement gathering, UAT support, and iterative development cycles to ensure the successful implementation of BI projects. - Qualifications Required: - Expert-level proficiency in Power BI tools (Desktop, Service, Gateway). - Deep understanding of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling techniques. - Strong SQL skills for data extraction, joins, and aggregations. - Experience in building executive dashboards and operational reports. - Familiarity or basic understanding with Microsoft Fabric is considered an addon. - Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments. - Proficiency in requirement gathering, UAT support, and iterative development cycles.
