The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Marketing Associate to drive the awareness and adoption of our digital products. As a Product Marketing Associate , you will help shape how eGov’s products are positioned, understood, and adopted across samaaj (civil society), sarkaar (government institutions), and bazaar (private sector partners). You’ll translate complex product capabilities into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with diverse stakeholders — from municipal field officers to state departments to ecosystem innovators. This role sits at the intersection of product, storytelling, and systems — perfect for someone who thrives in fast-moving, purpose-led environments and believes in the power of technology to serve the public good. Key Responsibilities Empathetic story-telling and content evangelism Drive the product marketing strategy. Base it on user-driven insights Create product narratives —- Translate technical features into customer-facing benefits for both technical and non-technical audiences Craft product positioning documents, messaging frameworks, and value propositions. Support segmentation and persona mapping to ensure messaging is tailored across civil society, government, and market partners. Produce high-quality, engaging content across various formats, including: Product demos and explainer videos Product websites Product presentations and webinars Product brochures, fact sheets, blogs, newsletters, white papers, and case studies Product-related social media content Product marketing and adoption enablement Collaborate with product managers to plan and launch new features through release notes, walkthroughs, and webinars. Assist in executing go-to-market strategies for product launches, new modules, and releases Develop product marketing kits — pitch decks, one-pagers, battle cards, and case studies. Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and evolving customer needs Collaboration Work cross-functionally with product, design, partnerships, field teams, and ecosystem collaborators. Support documentation team with guidance around community-led documentation or field-ready materials for contributors, practitioners, and volunteers. Maintain a rhythm of collaboration with the product team to iterate messaging and identify “aha” moments Interface with branding and communications to ensure product messaging aligns with the organization’s overall voice, tone, and strategic communication guidelines. A penchant to roll up their sleeves — whether it's running field interviews, iterating landing pages, or diving into usage data to shape the next move. A balance of creativity and structure — storytelling with a data-informed backbone. A belief in the power of stories to drive change — and a knack for crafting narratives that inspire action and connect the digital world with real user needs. Participated in a PLG-style product growth model. Hands-on experience owning the entire product marketing toolkit — from sharpening positioning and writing crisp messaging, to running GTM launches and synthesizing feedback loops from the ground up. Requirements 2-4 years of experience in product marketing Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for aesthetic outcomes with the ability to create compelling content Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics.` Been part of a 0 to 1 journey for a product. Proactively involved in creating compelling and aesthetic product marketing kits Experience collaborating with freelancers and agencies to bring ideas to life Experience supporting SaaS product launches or self-serve adoption journeys. Experience with SEO/SEM strategies and digital marketing campaigns (not a must have) Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). Experience with content creation and design tools, content distribution mechanisms and multichannel targeting Experience with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
