Product Manager

We are an early-stage ecommerce venture, backed by a renowned South Indian retail chain with over 50 years of legacy and 6 flagship super-stores across Tamil Nadu. Our mission is to bring the same trusted shopping experience to online customers, delivering trusted quality products at the lowest prices.

We are looking for a results-oriented and experienced Product Manager to drive our product strategy. You will play a key role in building features and enhancements that drive user acquisition, boosting customer retention, and drive business growth.  

Key Responsibilities

• Defining the product vision and strategy:

   Establishing the long-term direction and goals for the product. 

• Market Research and Analysis:

   Understanding customer needs, competitor offerings, and market trends. 

• Product Roadmap and Prioritization:

   Creating a detailed roadmap for product development, prioritizing features based on business value and customer needs. 

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

   Working with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other teams to ensure alignment and successful product launch. 

• Product Requirements and Specifications:

   Documenting detailed product requirements and specifications to guide the development process. 

• Product Launch and Iteration:

   Managing the product launch process and iterating on the product based on user feedback and performance data. 

• Business Case Development:

   Creating business cases for new product ideas and feature enhancements. 

• Stakeholder Management:

   Communicating the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders, including executives, investors, and other team members. 

• Metrics and Analysis:

   Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and analysing data to identify areas for improvement.

• Revenue Growth:

  Identifying opportunities to boost sales and profitability.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Product manager role (at a product-oriented company).
• Proficiency in using data tools and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and team management skills, with the ability to build and nurture external and internal relationships.

Preferred

• Good understanding of the Tamil Nadu market, with experience tailoring campaigns to local consumer behaviour and preferences.
• Experience in software development is a good to have.
• Experience at a start-up is preferred.
