Job Description

Major Responsibilities

Perform product design and drafting using 2D/3D CAD software (CREO, SolidWorks) with accuracy and efficiency.
Consistently produce error-free, high-quality drawings and documentation.
Prepare P&IDs, detailed drawings, BOMs, and cost estimations based on order specifications and requirements.
Review designs and drawings, coordinating with COR teams to resolve technical issues.
Possess sound knowledge of steam control products and their applications
Ensure compliance with India Boiler Regulations (IBR), ASME, and other relevant standards.
Take ownership of the complete product life cycle management for valves, steam traps, pipeline ancillaries, etc.
Compile and submit IBR documentation, liaising with regulatory authorities for design approvals.
Manage PLM, PDM, and ERP-related activities to ensure seamless workflow.
Release approved manufacturing drawings and documents to the operations team.
Provide engineering support to operations and quality teams during manufacturing, testing, and validation of product designs.
Address technical queries from customers and sales teams on products and applications.
Conduct site visits, installation support, failure analysis, and recommend optimum solutions.
Actively contribute to new product development initiatives.
Manage time effectively while balancing responsibilities across product design and engineering solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree
Proficient in Solidworks and CREO
Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems.
Strong organizational and communication skills
