Job Title: Product Design Manager – B2C, Retail

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka

Work Type: Full-time, On-site (5 days/week)

Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership

Own the design strategy for digital retail products across automotive brands.

Oversee creation of high-fidelity UI designs, interaction models, and design systems.

Drive cross-functional alignment with Product, Engineering, and Marketing.

Project & Product Management

Manage end-to-end design project lifecycle using tools like Jira.

Ensure project delivery timelines and design standards are met.

Align design objectives with product KPIs and customer insights.

Research & Experience Innovation

Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis.

Advocate for user-centered design and data-driven decisions.

Stay ahead of trends in B2C product design and service design.

Team Management & Mentorship

Lead and grow a team of UI/UX designers (2+ years of proven team management required).

Define career paths, conduct reviews, and coach for performance and creativity.

Foster a culture of design thinking, feedback, and innovation.

Must-Have Qualifications

8+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on B2C or B2B2C platforms.

Minimum 2+ years as a people manager (not just mentoring – full team leadership).

Currently working at Manager / Staff level or above.

Strong command over Jira and other project management tools.

Portfolio demonstrating high-fidelity UI, interaction models, and design systems for large-scale B2C products.

Experience with cross-functional collaboration, agile environments, and accessible, responsive design principles.

Current/previous role in large-scale B2C product company.

Male candidates only (as per specific client requirement).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the retail domain or automotive digital platforms.

Background in service design, front-end technologies, and accessibility standards.

Strong understanding of metrics-driven design, performance optimization, and scaling design systems.
