Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Procurement Officer to join our growing team. This role will be based in India and support procurement, vendor relations, and documentation for both imports to Nepal/India and international exports.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end procurement operations for raw materials, packaging, and services needed for shipping/export.
Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard domestic and international suppliers.
Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate net terms, pricing, and supply contracts.
Handle all procurement documentation required for import/export compliance, customs, and trade regulations.
Work closely with operations, logistics, and finance teams in Nepal & India.
Monitor delivery schedules, order status, and vendor performance reporting.
Implement cost-saving strategies and ensure quality standards.
Prepare regular procurement and compliance reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelorâ€™s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
3–5+ years of experience in procurement, vendor relations, and international trade documentation.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Familiarity with imports/exports documentation and processes.
Excellent communication in English.
Familiarity with procurement tools or ERPs is preferred.
