Procurement Officer

As a Procurement Officer at Victor Dispensing Systems Pvt. Ltd. (VDSPL) in Nashik, your role involves sourcing and evaluating vendors for raw materials, mechanical/electronic components, and fabrication items. You will be responsible for preparing and issuing RFQs, purchase orders, and conducting quotation comparisons. Additionally, you will coordinate with stores and engineering teams for inventory planning and stock management, maintain the vendor database, follow up on deliveries, and resolve supply chain delays. It will be your duty to monitor procurement budgets, assist in cost-saving initiatives, and ensure compliance with GST, transportation, and other commercial terms. Your qualifications should include a graduate degree in any discipline, proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and professional email communication, as well as a basic understanding of GST, TDS, and inventory management. Your skills should encompass strong negotiation abilities, vendor coordination, and record-keeping skills. Ideally, you should have 13 years of procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing setup. However, freshers with good theoretical knowledge and a willingness to learn may also be considered. In addition to your qualifications and skills, preferred qualities for this role include being honest, detail-oriented, and organized. You should be capable of managing multiple vendors and working effectively under deadlines. A willingness to visit local suppliers as needed is also a desirable quality for this position.
