Procurement Manager

About this Role

This permanent role within the Source to Pay / PTP Operations function is based in Pune, Budapest, or Ahmedabad. The Manager will lead a team of 10–15 individuals and report to the Vice President, Lavanya Manikantan. The role is responsible for overseeing month-end activities, ensuring accurate invoice postings, and driving continuous process improvements in the Accounts Payable domain. The individual will play a critical role in maintaining financial controls, supporting local markets, and influencing strategic decisions across the organisation.

You bring experience from shared services and multinational environments, and you are passionate about improving processes and ensuring compliance. What you will do

• Lead PTP operations to ensure timely and accurate invoice bookings in line with SLAs.
• Support the team in completing month-end activities including balance sheet analysis and controls.
• Deliver KPI reporting and implement corrective actions to meet performance targets.
• Resolve queries from local market FinOps, business units, and vendors with a first-time-right approach.
• Identify and mitigate risks in upstream and downstream processes.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying control weaknesses and inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance internal processes post-EVO migration.
• Provide dedicated support to local markets and proactively manage stakeholder queries.
• Influence cross-functional teams to deliver improvements across Group Common Functions.

What skills you need

Essential:

• Commerce graduate with 8 -15 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
• Proven expertise in PTP accounting and shared services.
• Experience in multinational environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams in a matrix structure.
• High level of expertise in accounting activities including accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and SOX/internal controls.

Desired:

• SAP module experience.
• German language proficiency.
• 6–8 years of experience specifically in PTP operations.
• Accounting certifications or advanced qualifications.
