Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for electrical, automation, and mechanical components, including vendor qualification and performance monitoring.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to optimize cost and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, purchase orders, and procurement schedules to ensure uninterrupted production and project execution.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and finance teams to forecast material requirements and manage procurement budgets.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and dashboards for management review. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement procurement best practices, including vendor rationalization.
• Stay updated with market trends, pricing, and new technologies in industrial automation and electrical components.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration. MBA preferred.
• 7 – 12 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, preferably in industrial automation, electrical, or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, purchase orders, contracts, and inventory management systems.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
