Job titleSenior Purchaser & Procurement Executive – Interior Design & Execution Role summaryThe Senior Purchaser & Procurement Executive will handle end‑to‑end purchasing and procurement for interior design and execution projects, ensuring timely availability of materials at the best cost and quality. The role requires strong vendor management, negotiation, and coordination with design, execution, and accounts teams.​ Key responsibilitiesManage end‑to‑end procurement for interior and fit‑out projects (modular furniture, laminates, plywood, hardware, lights, sanitary, loose furniture, soft furnishings, etc.).​ Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors for interior materials and services.​ Obtain multiple quotations, prepare comparison sheets, negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.​ Issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure materials reach sites on time as per project schedules.​ Coordinate closely with designers, project managers, and site teams to align material specifications with BOQs and drawings.​ Monitor inventory/material movement, avoid shortages and excess, and support dispatch planning from vendors to sites.​ Maintain and update vendor database, rate contracts, purchase records, and reports (cost, lead time, supplier performance).​ Ensure quality of received materials as per approved samples/specifications and handle replacement for defective/incorrect items.​ Keep track of market trends, new materials, and alternatives to support value engineering and cost optimisation.​ Ensure adherence to company policies, commercial terms, and basic compliance in all procurement transactions.​ RequirementsGraduate in any discipline; preference for candidates with specialization in Supply Chain / Materials Management / Commerce.​ 4–8 years of experience in purchase/procurement, with minimum 3 years in interior design, fit‑out, furniture, or construction industry.​ Strong knowledge of interior materials, vendors, and rates in the local market (plywood, laminates, hardware, glass, MS/SS, paints, lights, etc.).​ Proven skills in negotiation, vendor development, and cost control.​ Ability to read BOQs and basic drawings and coordinate with project/design teams.​ Proficiency in MS Excel and basic ERP/procurement software for PO, tracking, and reporting.​ Strong communication, follow‑up, and time‑management skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.​
