DESIGN MANAGER(DM) 1 This position is responsible for managing people, processes, designs, timelines, and customer expectations. This department also carries a 50% collection target. 2 Reporting to: DD and ED 3 Conduct daily standup meetings with designers and 3D visualizers. 4 Coordinate with the Execution and QC teams to address any emergency work. 5 Ensure designs align with the customer’s budget. 6 Ensure collections are completed as per the plan, with zero bad debts. 7 Ensure designers collect 50% payments on time. 8 Review and approve all designs before presenting them to customers. 9 Verify and approve the design sign-off document. 10 Ensure all concluded MOMs (Minutes of Meetings) are clearly mentioned in the design sign-off document. 11 Plan and maintain incentive programs to motivate the team. 12 Manage the department’s operations within the allocated budget. 13 Keep the team motivated and energetic. 14 Check task updates twice daily in the CRM system. 15 Evaluate the team’s performance, address issues and disputes, and resolve them effectively. 16 Call every customer at least once a week to ensure smooth progress and send a report to management. 17 Conduct ongoing R&D to improve work efficiency, quality, timelines, and team coordination. 18 Use available resources (including budgets) to give incentives or cover losses caused by the team, if necessary. 19 Meet customers in person to resolve escalated issues. 20 Ensure the department consistently receives positive reviews. 21 Ensure strict adherence to SOPs by all team members. 22 Prepare FAQs to streamline processes and avoid wasting time. 23 Personally review the weekly report before submitting it and discuss any issues during team meetings. 24 Ensure project timelines and design quality are never compromised. 25 Maintain a track record of upcoming, ongoing, and under-completion projects. 26 Check messages in all company groups at least every 30 minutes. 27 Respond to messages within 30 minutes. 28 Assess the efficiency of the department and its personnel.
