Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and budgets. • Source, negotiate, and finalize contracts with vendors and suppliers for interior materials (e.g., furniture, lighting, electrical, flooring, hardware, etc.). • Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) based on approved Material Indents or BOQs. • Coordinate with the design, estimation, and project execution teams to understand material and service requirements. • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to project sites as per schedules. • Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and service. • Maintain vendor database and establish long-term relationships with reliable suppliers. • Track inventory and monitor stock levels for ongoing and upcoming projects. • Manage procurement documentation including PO, invoice, delivery notes, and quality checks. • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and quality standards. • Assist in cost estimation and budgeting for new projects. • Resolve delivery issues or supplier disputes efficiently. Key Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Interior Design, or a related field. • 7-10 years of experience in procurement for interior fit-out/turnkey/interior construction industry. • Strong knowledge of interior materials, market rates, and technical specifications. • Excellent negotiation and communication skills. • Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and procurement/ERP software. • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability. • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously. Preferred Skills • Knowledge of AutoCAD drawings and ability to read technical BOQs. • Experience in vendor development and cost-saving strategies. • Familiarity with ISO procurement procedures and documentation.
