We're seeking a dedicated Procurement Analyst to join our dynamic License and Vendor Management team. In this role, you'll drive critical internal processes for application license procurement and serve as a trusted advisor to business units. You'll be instrumental in optimizing costs, improving quality, and ensuring excellence across our managed application ecosystem. Job Requirements Role Description Report directly to the License and Vendor Management Team Lead Work collaboratively within the team, focusing specifically on procurement and vendor management processes Evaluate requests, identify requirements, and implement solutions Document and improve existing processes Propose innovative process improvements Champion automation opportunities to increase efficiency Key Responsibilities Take ownership of license and vendor management processes for SoftwareOne's internal applications Manage License and Vendor queue within ServiceNow to track user requests and provide timely resolution Ensure strict compliance with software licensing agreements and proactively manage renewals Partner with cross-functional teams to align purchasing strategies with broader business objectives Build and maintain positive relationships with key vendors to ensure efficient service delivery and value Collaborate with our Global Procurement Team to optimize and standardize software procurement workflows Apply enterprise tools to maintain detailed records of vendor agreements, licenses, and procurement activities Key Relationships License and Vendor Management team members Application owners and users across the organization Departmental leadership collaborators Global procurement specialists External software vendors Internal vendor partner relationship managers Abilities Outstanding communication abilities across diverse audiences Proven ability to translate business requirements into actionable outcomes Strong analytical thinking and creative problem-solving capabilities Collaborative approach for cross-functional teamwork Meticulous attention to detail with excellent organizational abilities Adaptability to follow standards while developing solutions for novel challenges Proven track record in contract negotiations for software licensing and agreements Experience with services contract negotiation preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business IT, Procurement Management, or related field 2-3 years of experience in vendor management and procurement Demonstrated experience in software asset management and SaaS license administration Proficient understanding of IT procurement processes and standard methodologies Solid understanding of software licensing agreements and compliance requirements Outstanding ability to analyse data to determine supplier performance and generate insights for the business via dashboards and reports Company description Here at SoftwareOne, we give you the flexibility to unleash your creativity, without limits.
