Pricing Manager – Import

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain competitive import freight pricing (Sea & Air).
• Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, consolidators, and overseas agents for best rates.
• Respond to sales team RFQs (Requests for Quotation) and client inquiries with accurate pricing.
• Prepare and update rate sheets, quotations, and tariffs.
• Analyze trade lanes, market trends, and competitor pricing to recommend strategies.
• Collaborate with the Sales & Operations teams to ensure profitability and service quality.
• Maintain vendor relationships to ensure strong buying capabilities.
• Support sales in closing deals by providing cost-effective solutions.
• Monitor and track pricing performance and margins for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in

  import pricing

  within a freight forwarding/logistics company.
• Strong knowledge of

  international freight rates, Incoterms, customs duties & surcharges.

• Good network with shipping lines, airlines, and overseas agents.

• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and vendor management skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and CRM tools.

• Bachelor’s degree

Preferred:

• Experience in pricing for specialized cargo (pharma, chemicals, FMCG, perishables).
• Knowledge of key global trade lanes (Asia, Europe, USA, Middle East).
• Ability to handle complex tenders and long-term rate contracts.
