  • Lead day‑to‑day campus operations for the preschool, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and joyful learning environment for children aged 2–6.
  • Design, implement, and continuously refine a play‑based early years curriculum aligned with national/local pre‑primary frameworks and best practices.
  • Recruit, onboard, mentor, and evaluate teaching staff; deliver coaching, classroom observations, and targeted professional development to raise instructional quality.
  • Drive parent engagement through transparent communication, workshops, and regular progress reviews to build strong school‑family partnerships.
  • Manage admissions, enrolment planning, budgets, resource allocation, vendor relationships, and campus facilities to meet operational targets.
  • Implement and monitor child safeguarding, health & safety protocols, and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and reporting standards.

Skills & Qualifications

Must‑Have
  • Minimum 5 years experience in similar profile.
  • Degree in Early Childhood Education, B.Ed., Child Development, or a related discipline.
  • Proven leadership experience in a preschool/early years setting with responsibility for curriculum delivery and staff management.
  • Strong knowledge of early years pedagogy—play‑based learning, developmentally appropriate practice, and formative assessment.
  • Experience in admissions/enrolment management, basic budgeting, and day‑to‑day school operations.
  • Demonstrable track record in staff recruitment, performance management, and teacher development through classroom observation and coaching.
  • Up‑to‑date understanding of child safeguarding, health & safety practices, and applicable pre‑primary compliance requirements in India.

Preferred

  • Certification in ECCE, Montessori, Cambridge Early Years, or other recognised early childhood pedagogy.
  • Experience with digital school management tools and parent‑communication platforms.
  • Exposure to multi‑campus operations or leadership of a high‑enrolment preschool centre.

Compensation, Working Hours & Notice Period
  • Salary range: 6 lakh - 12 lakh (No Bar for deserving candidate)
  • Working hours: Core on‑site hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (includes a 1‑hour break). Occasional early/late hours or Saturday events may be required for parent meetings, staff development, or school functions; compensatory time off or adjustments will be provided where appropriate. Typical expected weekly commitment is up to ~48 hours including events.
  • Notice period: Preferred notice period is 1 month; up to 3 months may be acceptable depending on current contractual obligations. Immediate joiners or candidates with flexible notice can be prioritised.
  • Contract type & probation: Full‑time, permanent role with a standard probationary period (typically 3 months) during which performance and fit will be reviewed.
