Job Description: Pre-sales/ Sales Ops Lead Location: Hyderabad CTC: 24LPA Reports to: Managing Partner About Us: We are a venture studio that builds high-growth startups from the ground up. Mission of this role: A Pre-Sales / Sales Operations Lead plays a dynamic role, supporting both the studio and its diverse portfolio companies in scaling their go-to-market efforts. This position requires a blend of technical pre-sales expertise, sales operations acumen, and the flexibility to work across multiple industries and business models. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can drive sales effectiveness, build strong client relationships, and help early-stage ventures achieve rapid growth. Key Responsibilities: ● Demand Generation: Drive demand generation initiatives by researching potential clients, running targeted campaigns, building sales collateral, and maintaining a shared knowledge repository to accelerate sales cycles across the portfolio. ● Understanding Customer Needs: Collaborate with founders, sales teams, and potential customers across multiple portfolio companies to analyze and document requirements, pain points, and business objectives, ensuring solutions are tailored to each venture’s market and stage. ● Developing Solutions: Design and deliver compelling proposals, demonstrations, and presentations that showcase how each company’s unique offerings address client needs, emphasizing value propositions and competitive advantages relevant to early-stage businesses. ● Technical Expertise: Act as a technical expert throughout the sales process, providing deep product knowledge, addressing technical queries, and supporting both internal teams and external clients across various industries and solution types. ● Building Relationships: Establish and nurture relationships with potential clients, partners, and key stakeholders, building trust and credibility for the studio and its portfolio firms, and serving as a consistent point of contact during pre-sales engagements. ● Sales Support & Operations Management : Lead and optimize sales operations for the studio and its ventures, including pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, and CRM administration. Develop and implement scalable sales processes, and provide training and enablement for founders and sales teams. ● Market Analysis : Help coordinate market research and competitive analysis for each portfolio company, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks to inform product positioning, sales strategies, and go-to-market plans. ● Documentation : Prepare clear and concise technical documentation, proposals, and validation reports, ensuring seamless handover from pre-sales to delivery teams or external partners, and facilitating knowledge transfer within fast-growing startups. ● Collaborating with Internal Teams: Work closely with founders, product, engineering, marketing teams, and other teams across the studio and portfolio, ensuring solutions are feasible, aligned with market needs, and leveraging feedback to drive continuous improvement. ● Contract and Compliance Management: Support contract drafting and negotiation, ensuring all solutions comply with relevant legal and regulatory standards for each venture, and oversee contract management processes. What we are looking for : ● Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or business, or a related field; startup experience are a plus. ● Proven experience in pre-sales, sales operations, or technical consulting, ideally within startups or high-growth environments. ● Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn and explain diverse products and solutions. ● Experience with sales operations, CRM systems, and process optimization in fast-paced settings. ● Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. ● Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. ● Entrepreneurial spirit and commercial awareness.
