The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in C, Embedded C, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), and experience in Systems functional/System testing that includes Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)/Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), Installation and Commissioning of PLC Systems Position: Senior Product Assurance Engineer (PLC test systems)Experience Required: 4 to 11 YearsNotice: immediate to 15 DaysSalary: OpenWork Location: HyderabadMode Of Work: HybridType of Hiring: ContractProject Tenure: Long-term project with no tenure limit Primary Skills: · Hands-on experience in PLC test systems, including manual and automated testing, and scripting. Foxboro/Honeywell/ABB/Yokogawa DCS and/or Triconex / HIMA / FSC / Modicon PLC.· Experience in control / safety systems functional / system testing that includes Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) / Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), Installation and Commissioning of PLC Systems· Exposure to verification and/or validation of multi-processor real-time embedded or high-integrity systems, and communication protocols, i.e., Serial IO, Modbus, TCP/IP, OPC, etc, for safety-critical systems· Exposure to formal development methodologies, i.e., configuration management, requirements traceability, formal or semi-formal methods; unit, functional, and system testing· Strong communication and presentation skills Secondary Skills: (Nice to Have) · Experience with redundant systems (e.g., 2002 or 2003) and/or exposure to CENELEC, IEC, ISO, IEEE, or CMM standards is preferable CSQA / CSQE / CRP certification is a plus· Experience with requirements engineering, configuration management, unit / automated testing, and coding enforcement tools is a plus· Exposure to Safety standards like IEC 61508 Responsibilities: · Develop and evaluate plans and criteria for a variety of projects and activities to be carried out by others.· Carrying out self-reviews and analysis of hardware or software deliverables, including documenting results as required.· Preparing test scripts, setting up test environments, and executing planned tests using automated test tools or using manual test methods.· Develop and execute test procedures, record test results, and prepare test reports· Assisting in the maintenance of project and/or organizational processes and work procedures.
