Department: Factory Operations (Manufacturing)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic professional with a proven track record in production and manufacturing management, coupled with the strategic acumen to drive business growth. This role requires developing and executing innovative strategies to improve operational efficiency and enhance overall business performance. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead operations effectively, implement growth-driven strategies, and deliver results in a competitive manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Manufacturing and Production Management:

• Develop and implement growth strategies that align with organisational goals, enhancing overall productivity.
• Identify new opportunities within production and manufacturing to optimise operational capacity and reduce costs.
• Oversee the team that builds strong relationships with transporters, vendors, and clients to foster long-term partnerships.
• Analyse production capabilities to recommend innovations in processes or products.

2. Manufacturing Operations Oversight:

• Plan and execute production schedules to meet quality standards and delivery timelines.
• Ensure optimal utilisation of resources, equipment, and workforce for seamless manufacturing operations.
• Drive efficiency improvements through lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Monitor compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations, maintaining high operational standards.

3. Team Leadership and Talent Development:

• Lead and inspire a team of production staff, supervisors, and support personnel to achieve growth targets.
• Build a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration across teams.
• Develop skill enhancement programs to up skill team members and align them with strategic goals.

4. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

• Act as a bridge between senior management and factory operations, ensuring alignment of objectives.
• Present growth plans, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
• Establish effective channels of communication with internal and external partners to drive mutual success.

5. Financial Management and Reporting:

• Drive cost efficiency across operations while maintaining service quality.
• Oversee and maintain accurate inventory and financial documentation to support growth-focused decision-making.
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports on KPIs, production metrics, and growth performance to senior leadership.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain

Management, Production/Industrial Engineering, or related fields (MBA preferred).

Experience:

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or business strategy roles.
• Demonstrated success in leading growth initiatives in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, supply chain software, and inventory management tools.
• Should have proven experience in a production and manufacturing unit on a larger scale.

Certifications in APICS, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing are advantageous.
