Job Overview

Kortya Softcom Pvt. Ltd. is a fast-growing fintech company delivering secure and scalable digital payment solutions including AEPS, DMT, Bill Payments, Wallet Management, Payment Gateway Dashboard, Fintech Mobile App, and Cross-Border Money Transfers.

We are seeking a skilled PHP Laravel Backend Developer who can build, maintain, and optimize our fintech platforms. The ideal candidate must also have hands-on experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, and good understanding of payment security, API integrations, and transaction-based systems. Knowledge of Flutter is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities (Fintech-Specific)

1. Backend Development – PHP Laravel

• Develop, maintain, and enhance secure Laravel-based fintech modules (AEPS, DMT, Wallet, Bill Payments, Settlement, PG dashboards).

• Build scalable microservices for high-volume transactions.

• Implement role-based access control, authorization, and authentication for agents, distributors, merchants.

2. API Development & Integration

• Design and manage RESTful APIs for integrations with banks, NPCI services, AEPS providers, PGs, and 3rd-party fintech partners.

• Manage secure API communication using hashing, encryption, and digital signatures.

• Integrate key operations: onboarding, KYC, wallet loading, settlements, payouts, DMT, UPI services, etc.

3. Transaction Handling & Security

• Ensure end-to-end payment security with encryption, tokenization, validation, and fraud-prevention logic.

• Optimize transaction flow to reduce failures and improve success rates.

• Ensure compliance with RBI, NPCI, and fintech security norms.

4. Dashboard & Admin Panel Development

• Build and manage admin dashboards for:

o Agent / Merchant management

o Transaction tracking

o Dispute monitoring

o Settlement reports

o AEPS/DMT/Bill Payment analytics

5. Database & Performance Optimization

• Create optimized database structures for high-volume transaction logs.

• Work with MySQL/PostgreSQL for stored procedures, triggers, query optimization.

• Maintain data integrity, audit logs, and backup systems.

6. Cross-Technology Contributions

• Build reusable UI components using React & Next.js for internal dashboards.

• Contribute to Node.js microservices for performance-critical areas.

• Support Flutter team with backend APIs if required.

7. DevOps, Testing & Maintenance

• Work with Git, Docker, CI/CD for deployment optimization.

• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure 24/7 uptime for payment services.

• Conduct security testing, performance testing, and fix vulnerabilities.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in PHP Laravel backend development.

• Strong understanding of fintech platforms: AEPS, DMT, Bill Payments, Wallet Systems, PG integrations.

React, Next.js, Node.js.

• Experience in MySQL / PostgreSQL database management.

• Good understanding of REST APIs, JWT, OAuth, encryption, etc.

• Experience with transaction processing, wallets, KYC flow is a major plus.

• Familiarity with Flutter (added advantage).

• Strong debugging skills and experience in handling live production systems.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced fintech environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
